Congratulations to Natalie Davis, this year’s winner of the LEXUS Pursuit of Perfections Scholarship award of $20,000.

A scholar athlete from the Maggie Walker Governor's school, Natalie runs varsity cross country, indoor and outdoor track. She has achieved All District academic and athletic; All Region academic and athletic; All Metro; and All South. She is a member of the National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, Thomas Jefferson National Honor Society and an AP Scholar with Honors. A senior class co-president, Natalie also is a key club member and member of her church youth group, helping to feed the homeless and rebuild homes in New Orleans.

Each week for 30 weeks during the past school year Lexus of Richmond recognized one outstanding high school senior scholar-athlete. These nominees demonstrate outstanding achievements and hard work both in the classroom and on the field of play.

All nominees were honored at an awards banquet in late May where Natalie was announced as the recipient of the 2008 scholarship award. WRLH FOX Richmond is proud to partner with Lexus of Richmond, WRVA and Richmond Magazine to bring you this program.

WRLH FOX Richmond will partner again with Lexus of Richmond and WRVA during the 2009 school year to recognize more outstanding student athletes from our area. Students must be nominated by a school official including a principal, guidance counselor or coach and demonstrate areas of leadership and achievement in academics and sports.
