A senior at Hermitage High School, Darren has a 4.935 GPA, and is ranked #1 in his class of 464. He has a combined SAT score of 1790, he is vice president of Mu Alpha Theta, and is a member of the National Honor Society, and the Spanish National Honor Society.
As an athlete, he competes in football, basketball, and baseball. Off the court and the field, he spends time in the community tutoring students in math and science, and volunteering for the Rainbow Olympics.
Darren hopes to continue to play baseball at Stanford in the fall.
As a finalist, Darren has received dinner for two, and an opportunity to compete for a $10,000 scholarship.
