A senior at St. Catherines School, Mamie has a 4.3 GPA, and has a combined SAT score of 2160. She is an AP Scholar, and has received the Bausch and Lomb Science Award as well as the Smith College Community Service and Academic Excellence Book Award.
As captain of her Cross Country, Indoor Track and Outdoor Track teams, she exemplifies leadership.
Off the track, she spends her time in the community volunteering for Operation Smile, St. Josephs Villa, Saturday Academy, City Saints and Camp Coast Care.
Mamie hopes to marry her love of biology and mathematics in college, and is looking into the programs at Washington & Lee, and UNC.
As a finalist, Mamie has received dinner for two, and an opportunity to compete for a $10,000 scholarship.
