A senior at Douglas Freeman High School, Lauren has a 4.12 GPA, and has a combined SAT score of 1770. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars.
As captain of her volleyball team, she was named All District Honorable Mention AP. She also excels on her Indoor and Outdoor Track -and- Field teams, earning honors as an All-District team member and High Jump District Champion.
She spends her time in the community volunteering for the Little Feet Meet (Elementary Level Special Olympics).
As a finalist, Lauren has received dinner for two, and an opportunity to compete for a $10,000 scholarship.
