A senior at St. Catherine's School, Chaney has a 4.25 GPA, and has a combined SAT score of 1861. She is a William & Mary Leadership Award recipient, a member of M.A.C. (Marine and Aquatics Conservation), and interned with Dr. William Barton, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, VCU-MCV.
She is a three sport athlete excelling in Field Hockey, Basketball, and Lacrosse.
In addition, she volunteers her time in the community tutoring with the St. Christopher's Saturday Academy, and St. Christopher's City Saints. Chaney has committed to play field hockey for William & Mary in the fall.
As a finalist, Chaney has received dinner for two, and an opportunity to compete for a $10,000 scholarship.
