NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - Fall is here and what would the season be without a little fun involving the most iconic Autumn staple?
FOX 17 News set out to find out exactly how many rubber bands it would take to explode a pumpkin.
Some team members went out to Ace Hardware in Goodlettsville to experiment.
In total, it took 220 rubber bands of various sizes to explode the pumpkin.
To change it up a bit, we also traveled to Ace Hardware in Chapel Hill to pin two pumpkins against each other. Watch the video below but, spoiler alert, it took way more rubber bands to bust these two!
What You'll Need:
- Rubber bands (Make sure to get a large size that fits around the pumpkin)
- Safety glasses
- Gloves to protect your hands
