AKRON, Ohio (WSET) -- A two-year-old is getting national attention and spreading positivity with his creative Halloween costume.

Brantley Morse is going trick-or-treating for the first time ever this year.

His mother dressed him up as Carl from the Pixar movie 'Up,' complete with bow tie and balloons.

Brantley was born at only 24 weeks gestation at one pound, 11 ounces and since then, he's been beating the odds while fighting cerebral palsy, stage 3 kidney disease, chronic lung disease and gastroparesis.

The Akron Children's Hospital said his mom, Brittany, wanted to incorporate his medical equipment in the costume to show the world he is making the absolute best out of his disabilities.

Brantley got to test out his costume at a fall festival last weekend.

He is looking forward to celebrating Halloween this year.
