FOX HOLIDAY SOCKS

FOX Holiday Socks is the collaborative effort of the existing Salvation Army Christmas Stocking program, 35 years in the making, and FOX Richmond's Public Service effort. Each year The Salvation Army helps underprivileged parents deliver hope to their children during the holiday season.

Through FOX Holiday Socks families in need can choose a stocking carefully filled by a member of the community with items specifically chosen for a child by age and gender. In our community alone, close to 15,000 children can benefit from this program.

Each year The Salvation Army, FOX Richmond and our partners collect thousands of filled FOX Socks for area children.

This program could not exist without the participation of its broadcast partners. Through an intensive campaign of public service announcements, print marketing, on-site displays and distribution points, the Richmond-Petersburg area is informed about the program and how they can help.
